This tour with the curator and artist Martin Fink focuses on the dissolution of visual habits. What happens when the everyday space is artistically reshaped? Remember the mystical, childlike view that you once had? As a child a puddle was an ocean, trees could be spaceships, a neighborhood seemed like a metropolis. The exchange about the contents of the exhibition is like an invitation to explore the world of the imagination once again. Afterwards, the Magdeburger Allee will no longer be the "old" one. Furthermore you have the opportunity to learn about the background of the exhibition and to think together with the curator about the future of the city and the (im)possibilities of digital art in urban space.

Together with illustrator Ann Bahrs, you will take a closer look at the SDG target "Quality Education" and create your own "zine" on it. Zine is derived from the English magazine. They are self-made magazines that are usually photocopied and contain your own texts. This makes zines a perfect creative medium to visualise, reproduce and share your ideas. You will start with small drawing exercises to find your own loose stroke and your own "drawing" voice. By the end of the workshop you will have created your own zine and developed your own point of view on education and learning as an author, illustrator and editor. No special knowledge or drawing experience is necessary.

Ann Bahrs lives in Berlin. She is an illustrator and a passionate creator of visual worlds, comics and zines.

Note: A basic stock of craft materials will be provided. Please bring your own materials, e.g. sketchbooks, pens, stamps, magazines, etc.

Get in the boat and come along on a journey in and around water! In addition to thinking about the sustainable use of water, you'll listen in and on the world of aquatic life, dive into new water worlds through a water-melting game, and build your own water filter. A workshop to listen, feel, move and see.

Joshua Goodman studied Liberal Art at Bauhaus University in Weimar. He is a forward-thinking world changer and through his artistic projects and workshops he wants to inspire people to be aware of what they will leave behind for posterity.

Exchange views with the curator about the background and contents of the exhibition. He will stop at selected exhibition sites and invite you to experience Magdeburger Allee in a new way. At the bicycle screening the power for the cinema experience is produced by the audience itself. At least eight spectators sit on bicycles and pedal the energy for sound and image. The bicycle screening shows how much muscle power is needed to generate electricity. A very practical and entertaining way to experience the connection between climate protection and mobility. For that night the exhibited works at Klanggerüst e.V. will only run with your help! And if there is still some air left, the action artist Nikolaus Huhn invites you to have a conversation with him!

Nikolaus Huhn is a Thuringia-wide, award-winning environmental activist from the small town of Schlöben (near Jena). As an action artist, he seeks encounters with people who consciously or unconsciously use the strengths and potentials of their region in various fields to go about their daily lifes in a resource-conserving way. And he is looking for approaches to living as a self-supporter (for energy, food, consumer goods).

What does colonialism have to do with the climate crisis? The brochure "Colonialism and the Climate Crisis", published by "Jugend im Bund für Umwelt und Naturschutz Deutschland e.V.", shows how advancing environmental destruction and atmospheric warming have arisen from colonial thinking and what diverse resistance struggles have been taking place for 500 years against the exploitation of people and the environment.

The authors Laura Bechert and Dodo research and work decolonially and critical of racism in the field of education policy on climate and environmental issues. They are committed to ensuring that climate solutions do not come at the expense of BIPoC (Black, Indigenous, People of Colour). The reading and the subsequent exchange invite the visitors to understand the connections between colonialism, racism and the climate crisis and to find their own sensitised way of dealing with power imbalances and prevailing privileges.

The reading and talk are organised in cooperation with the Landeszentrale für politische Bildung Thüringen.

Improvisational theater means performing something off the cuff, inventing stories and not knowing where they will lead. Without learned texts, without fixed roles and without a script. Not possible? Yes, it is! The actor and theater pedagogue Thilo Krumeich shows how. Because improv theater is not only fun, promotes creativity and flexibility - it also improves concentration and the ability to speak confidently in public. In the workshop participants learn to get involved in the moment and the people playing along with them, and thus to tell a story together about the contents of the "DeLIGHT" exhibition. Using the tools of spontaneity and creativity, selected exhibition locations will be explored and the theme of sustainability will be experienced individually.

Thilo Krumeich is a self-taught actor and theater pedagogue. Initially still active in the youth theater group in the "Apollotheater Görlitz", 2013 he found his way into the theater group "nADan", which he now has been leading for several years. For the past five years, he has been conveying his love of theater in workshops with children, adolescents and (young) adults, for example in the federal program "Kultur macht stark".

"Sustainability - Shine, My Star, Shine."

Everyone is talking about sustainability. What is meant by it? And what can we do with it? Let us be enlightened by the ideas and art pieces along Magdeburger Allee. It's possible that sustainability is everywhere - even if only in its conjunctive form for the time being. Because sustainability is not on top but in everything we do: from protecting ant biotopes to building bicycle paths to resisting throwaway society.

Uta Kolano has been a media maker for the longest time of her life: as a Freelance Documentarian and TV Journalist, as a Lecturer for Media and Communication Science at MLU in Halle (Saale) and finally (as a result of working with students and be a mother) she wanted to save the world together with others at the Sustainability Center Thuringia. Currently she is leading the project "Outreach" at Friedenstein Castle in Gotha, also with the mission "Sustainability".

Taking videos with a smartphone has become an almost daily habit for people all over the world. The reason for this is the easy access to devices with cameras that can record, playback and even edit. This technological development is driven even further by networks and platforms for content sharing platforms. How do we define video art in this context? What might other forms of video creation look like, beyond the prevailing socialised forms (selfies, tiktoks, stories)? In this workshop the participants will explore video art that breaks and distorts the usual perception and combines the moving image into something new.

Xavier Kat is a photographer and videographer from Oaxaca, Mexico. He takes a critical look at the totalising effect of smartphones in our everyday lives. In his workshops and projects, he questions and problematises the suction-like flood of information to which we are exposed and the unconditional attention we give it. He is part of "Videocity", an organisation that researches video art in various places around the world.

You have clothes in your wardrobe that you no longer wear? But you still can't part with them? Then this workshop is just right for you! Here you can breathe new life into dusty clothes and unloved textiles and batik with natural materials. With Marie and Florian, you can discuss how to deal with clothes in a more sustainable way and thus counteract the fast fashion industry. Sustainable fashion must start in your wardrobe!

Marie and Florian are studying art and art education at the University of Erfurt. They deal with the topic of sustainability and textiles as part of their studies, but also in their private lives. Their passion for second-hand shopping and upcycling inspired them to dedicate themselves to this topic in a workshop and to discuss it with you.

Note: Please bring an old shirt, a jute bag or other textiles. Light-coloured natural materials/fibres such as cotton, tencel or linen are suitable. No synthetic fibres! Since dyes are used, please bring an apron or similar.
